マンドリン奏者堀雅貴を中心とした プロジェクト。（当初デュオ活動としてスタートしたプラネット・スピリタですが、今後の色々な可能性を考慮し、新しい形態での挑戦を進行中です。）
2008年7月、柴田智子プロデュースにより結成。堀雅貴・丸本大悟のマンドリン・デュオとして自由が丘オペラ座でデビューの後、HAKUJU HALL等でライブを重ねてきた。
2009年11月にユニバーサルミュージックからCDデビュー。マンドリン・デュオとしてメジャーCDデビューするのは、国内初であった。その後NHK BS「J-MELO」「映画音楽に乾杯」やJ-WAVE「Classy Café」等のテレビ・ラジオ番組に出演。
2010年12月をもって堀雅貴・丸本大悟によるデュオ活動を停止。メンバーとして残った堀を中心に、サポートメンバーと共に「Café Café Mandolin」「柴田智子のサラダ記念日コンサート」等の公演や、著名なホールの主催公演などの依頼も受け、ライブ出演を重ねてきた。
NHK BS「ミュージッ ク・ガーデン」、J-WAVE「Classy Concert」にも出演。好評を得る。
2011年7月に自由が丘オペラ座から2枚目のCD「Mandolinspirits」をリリース。マンドリンの新境地を開拓し続けている。

Planet Spirita (Mandolin Duo)

Debut as Mandolin Duo ( Masataka Hori & Daigo Marumoto) at JIYUGAOKA OPERA and had some live concerts at Hakuju Hall and so on.
November 2009
CD came out from Universal Music. It was the first debut major CD as Mandolin Duo in Japan. After the doubt, they were on stage both TV and radio such as NHK BS " J-MELO", " EIGA ONGAKU NI KANPAI" and J-WAVE "Classy Cafe" and so on.
December 2010
Suspended Duo ( Masataka Hori & Daigo Marumoto). Masataka Hori stayed and had some live concerts with his supporting members.
He played in some live concert such as " Cafe cafe Mandolin" and "Tomoko Shibata Salad Kinenbi Concert" at famous halls.
Appeared on NHK BS " Music Garden" and J-wave "Classy Concert" and got a favarable reception.
July 2010
Released 2nd CD called " Mandolinspirits" from Jiyugaoka Operaza.
Now he has cultivated a new world of Mandolin

堀　雅貴（マンドリン／マンドラ／マンドロンチェロ）

2009年11月 日本初マンドリンデュオ“プラネット・スピリタ”としてユニバーサルミュージックよりCDデビュー。以来マンドリンの可能性を追求し、ソリストとしてジャンルを越えてギターの村治佳織、ソプラノの柴田智子、ピアノの塩谷哲氏等数多くのアーティストとも共演を続けている。
マンドリン系楽器を自由自在に使いこなし、クラシックを軸にオリジナルからポップスまでとレパートリーを広げている。近年では作曲・編曲も積極的に手がけその音楽性は豊かで自身のマンドリンアンサンブルの指揮にも取り組む。
今までに王子ホール（銀座）、HAKUJU HALL、名古屋宗次ホール、自由が丘オペラ座等で演奏活動を意欲的に行っている。NHK「ミュージック・ガーデン」「J-MELO」「映画音楽に乾杯！」やJ-WAVE「Classy Cafe」等のラジオ番組にも出演し好評を得ている。
2011年9月より、平成23年度文化庁新進芸術家海外研修員として渡欧。また夏には南フランスで開催される「Rencontres Pince-cordes」に参加し、演奏およびマスタークラスを開講。
マンドリン・指揮法・和声学を久保田孝氏に師事。（株）T.S.P.I. 所属。

Masataka Hori (Mandolin, Mandola, Mandoloncello)

Debut as the first Mandolin Duo called " Planet Spirita) in Japan in November 2009. and released CD from Universal Music.
He is challenging something new considering various possibility in the future and performs with many artists such as Kaori Muraji(Guitar), Tomoko Shibata(Soprano) and Satoru Shionoya(Piano).
He plays Mandolin type music instruments covering from originals to pops based on classic music.
Recently he willingly composes and arranges music. His melody is resonant and also he conducts his mandolin ensemble.
He has performed numerous times at famous halls such as Ohji Hall(Ginza), Hakuju Hall, Nagoya Munetsugu Hall, and Jiyugaoka Operaza.
He appeared in NHK " Music Garden" "J-MELO", and 'EIGA ONGAKU NI KANPAI !" and also took part in radio programs such as J-WAVE " Classy Cafe" and got high reputation.

He is going to Europe in September 2011 as a trainee from Japanese Government Overseas Study Programs for Artists 2011.
He is going to participate in " Rencontres Pince-cordes' in Southern France and perform and give a lecture.
Now he studies Mandolin, conducting, and harmony under Takashi Kubo and belongs to T.S.P.I.
